Beautiful place to walk around.
Great winter hiking! Park office was great to work with, lady in the office was even kind enough to recommend a great campsite for me as I had not been to the forest before. Beautiful scenery, well kept up picnic shelters and facilities. Forest seems exceptionally well managed, ranger on patrol for the weekend was cool. Enjoyed the fox squirrels, which are novel for someone from the mountains. Sugarloaf Mountain was fun. Hopefully will be back again to camp since this trip a family matter came up and I was unable to stay overnight as planned.

Nice public hunting land but no wild animal stocking si didn't get many birds
I loved it as a kid and my kids love it ... not like other SC points.
